Dear Prithish,
Rather than fill in the paper evaluation, we are sending you this email.
We loved the Rajasthan tour and pre-tour to Amritsar. There was a lot of time spent on the bus, which upset me at first, and it was hard to have a series of one-night stands at the beginning of the trip. For example, we would have enjoyed two nights in Telha with the intervening day spent in the nearby wildlife sanctuary (and only two nights in Udaipur). But each and every stop in Rajasthan had something new and interesting to offer, and the sights during the long bus rides were interesting as well.
With the exception of the Park in New Delhi, the hotels were excellent, including the Holiday Inn in Amritsar. And with the exception of the 1559 Restaurant in Udaipur, the food was excellent, too (in Udaipur we would have preferred three dinners at our hotel, the 1559 was substandard, for example, no vegetable dishes were offered...not dal or paneer, but dishes featuring vegetables such as bindi).
Dheerindra was a charming, attentive, responsive and knowledgeable guide and a lot fun to travel with. We really enjoyed his company and especially appreciated his deep knowledge of the Hindu religion. He took very good care of us, made certain we were safe and seeing sights we wanted to see, and chose good places for us to eat lunch. We appreciated Dheerendra's flexibility, we made several unplanned stops at our request and he also devised some stops to meet interests we had expressed.
Our driver was terrific, one if the best we've had in India. He drove long hours, was very efficient and kept us safe and on time.
In summary, we loved the tour and hope to return to India soon.
Aloha
